Installs electrical equipment which includes but not limited to storage heaters, water heaters, electrical signs, switchboards, control panel and motors.
Tests and diagnoses electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices and hand tools to ensure functionality, compatibility and safety of system.
Ensures safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools and equipment associated with the job using required Personal Protective Equipment.
Undertakes other duties as required.
Qualifications:*
Must be at least high school graduate but with NCII Certification
Must be able to read electrical diagrams and layouts
Must have a working experience in handling main circuit breakers and control panels
Must be able to operate, maintain and work safely with hand tools, small plant and equipment
