About us:

Founded in 2022 and based in Coron, Palawan, Lalakbayin Ecoventures is a pioneer in the blue ocean economy. We collaborate with local communities, marine protected areas, and organizations to advance citizen science expeditions and design environmental programs that engage and inspire. Our services encompass citizen science expeditions, sustainable event design, and ecotourism consultingeach aimed at fostering biodiversity investment and promoting eco-conscious initiatives.

This part-time, remote position offers flexibility, with the opportunity to report directly to the Founder. While primarily remote, there may be occasions for in-person involvement, such as managing on-site projects, programs, and events in Palawan. As an Ecotourism Sales Associate, you will play a key role in promoting and selling our citizen science expeditions, sustainable event packages, and ecotourism consulting services. This position involves client engagement, providing service information, closing sales deals, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities as an Ecotourism Sales Associate:

• Represent Lalakbayin as an ambassador for sustainable tourism by building strong client relationships and presenting service proposals effectively.
• Drive revenue growth by promoting the Ridge-to-Reef program and other services across various channels, including email, calls, sales presentations, events, and meetings.
• Actively promote Lalakbayin's mission to preserve and promote eco-friendly tourism in Palawan, enhancing our visibility and credibility in the market.
• Set and achieve sales targets while ensuring timely and accurate submission of sales pipeline reports.
• Identify and nurture partnerships and collaborations that align with Lalakbayin's ethos and business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies that foster growth and sustainability.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in corporate sales and marketing.
• Knowledge on email marketing and project management tools.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Passion for travel, conservation, and environmental sustainability.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.
