Position : Product Information Management (PIM) Implementation or eCommerce Developer
Work Hours : 8 am to 4 pm PST
Salary Range : $1100 -$1300 per month
About Us
We manage multiple eCommerce websites and integrate our product data into numerous eCommerce marketplaces and 3rd party platforms. We seek a skilled Product Information Management (PIM) Implementation and eCommerce Developer to collaborate with the head of technology solutions. This role focuses on implementing the AtroPIM product information management system. After the initial PIM implementation, you build data feeds and exports to support our distributors and various third-party data needs, and you integrate AtroPIM into our existing WooCommerce sites, ensuring seamless and efficient data management across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate Purpose and Importance
- Feasibility Assessments: It is crucial to evaluate and test the practicality of ideas throughout all projects. Assessing ideas will involve gathering data and metrics to measure success against predefined criteria via proof of concept work.
- Stakeholder Confidence: The proof of concept process will secure buy-in from the head of technology solutions and allow for increased project velocity by demonstrating an idea's potential.
- Risk Mitigation: We believe in identifying and addressing potential challenges early in the project process. Conducting proof of concept work throughout the project process helps us identify and mitigate risks, reducing the chance of failure in later stages.
PIM System Implementation:
- Implement the AtroPIM product information management system to centralize and manage product information across platforms.
- Migrate existing BBP product data and BBP digital assets into the PIM.
Integrations:
- Build data feeds and exports to support distributors and various third-party data needs.
- Integrate AtroPIM with existing WordPress/WooCommerce sites
Update Existing Sites:
- Update existing WordPress/WooCommerce websites (content, core, theme, and plugins)
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce, and Custom Post Types.
Where to Buy Data updates:
- Data preprocessing for import into Where To Buy web applications.
Qualifications:
- Implementation and usage experience of product information management systems and creating data feeds for external systems (e.g., Amazon, WooCommerce, spreadsheet exports, and other third-party systems).
- Excel/CSV data preprocessing experience for importing into 3rd party systems and websites.
- Experience with web development, including WordPress, WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, and WP Custom Post Types.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (PHP).
- Knowledge of Amazon/Shopify marketplace.
- Experience with data management and optimization techniques in PIM environments.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
