This role supervises and manages the end-to-end day-to-day operations of the eCommerce Business Unit by: (1) ensuring that the business unit's workflows are executed on time, (2) ensuring that the website performs optimally, (3) addressing and resolving or escalating concerns from other departments, and (4) supporting the needs of eCommerce Specialists.
The role is also responsible for ensuring that products, marketing campaigns, and promotions are accurately set up on the website. Consequently, the role involves providing hands-on support for regular website improvements and major projects undertaken by the eCommerce team. Additionally, this role prepares internal reports required by the eCommerce Manager.
- Day-to-Day Operations Supervision & Management
Supervises day-to-day operational concerns raised by the eCommerce Specialist for Operations and external departments.
- Makes decisions regarding order resolutions and/or escalations raised by the CRC or SCM team.
Ensures that all pending order concerns (e.g., chargebacks, vouchers, etc.) are addressed on time, following the business unit's SLAs.- Coordinates with Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams, as well as supervisors and managers, to resolve day-to-day order concerns.
Prepares internal reports required by the business unit.
- Documents the internal processes of the business unit through the Business Unit Operating Manual.
- Website Management & Maintenance
Reviews site performance to ensure the website is functioning optimally.
- Uploads and maintains all content on the website (copy, images, banners, and landing pages).
Conducts daily QA of the website from the homepage to the payment page to ensure successful order processing.- Suggests enhancements and improvements to enhance the online customer journey and performs A/B testing if applicable.
Monitors website traffic to minimize bounce rates and identify potential choke points that could affect overall performance.
- Works directly with the IT and development teams to ensure the website runs smoothly.
Helps optimize content in collaboration with the Content Head.
- Ensures that items on the website are up-to-date, including setting up new items and removing obsolete content.
Timely sets up all products and promotions on the website.- Ensures that PDPs are in place and that all other necessary content is set up.
Suggests improvements and strategies to enhance the online customer journey.- Attends to customer concerns related to orders.
Coordinates with internal teams, such as Supply Chain and Customer Service, to address customer concerns.
Assists the eCommerce Manager in conceptualizing and implementing strategic action plans to ensure profitability.
- Analyzes data to maximize bottom-line profitability and meet sales targets.
Maintains a database of all assets used online.
- Manages special projects or tasks related to the position.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Management/Administration
- 1 to 3 years of experience in e-commerce sales and operations end to end process for a website or an online marketplace.
Proficient in basic or intermediate Microsoft Excel- Must be willing to report to these locations: BGC, Taguig and Santolan, Pasig
