The E-commerce Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the company's e-commerce platform. This role involves enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and acquiring new customers. The E-commerce Marketing Officer works closely with other marketing professionals and departments to achieve the company's online marketing goals.
- Key Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce marketing plans that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Set specific marketing goals that align with the overall direction and business goals.
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet KPIs.
Work with the content team to create compelling marketing content, including blogs, articles, product descriptions, and social media posts.
- Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and aligns with the brand voice and messaging.
Implement and manage SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Develop and manage PPC campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management.
Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, email design, and performance analysis.
- Use email marketing tools to automate and personalize communication with customers.
Manage and grow the company's social media presence across platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging content, monitor interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
Use web analytics tools to monitor and report on website performance and marketing campaign effectiveness.
- Generate reports and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing efforts align with sales goals.
- Coordinate with designers, developers, and content creators to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within an e-commerce environment.- Proven experience managing successful SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.- Proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), marketing automation tools, and social media management tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
