Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Consultant, Microsoft Business Applications Consulting, is pivotal in bridging client aspirations with the technological excellence of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform. This role demands technical knowledge combined with client interactions, with being part of a team to guide client projects to fruition. Client projects include Dynamics 365 technologies Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Insights-Journeys & Customer Journeys Data, along with wider Power Platform capabilities. Your role is critical in configuring Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform to not just meet but exceed client expectations, transforming their business processes and outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Vision & Implementation: Act as the functional consultant on client projects, translating visions into dynamic, effective technical solutions.
  • Microsoft Business Applications Mastery: Expertly configure and customize Dynamics 365 CE across its various modules, along with Power Platform components, to optimize client business processes.
  • Travel Engagement: Travel to client meetings and some internal team gatherings is required, typically less than 25% of the time, with occasional surges to 50%. Your flexibility and willingness to travel are essential in fostering strong client and team relationships.
  • Certification and Continuous Learning: Stay ahead with Microsoft certifications, ensuring the highest standards of knowledge and practice in our projects.
  • Collaborative Excellence: Work seamlessly with clients and internal teams, promoting a culture of collaboration and success.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Microsoft Business Applications Experience: 3+ years using either Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, or Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, with a record of successful project engagements.
  • Microsoft Certification: Mandatory MB-910 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals Customer Engagement Apps) certification. Highly experienced Dynamics 365 consultants without this certification will be considered but certification will be expected within 90 days of employment.
  • Preferred Certifications: MB-210 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales), MB-230 (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service), PL-900 (Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals), and PL-200 (Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant) certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strategic Problem Solving: Skill in designing scalable, efficient solutions that address complex business needs.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
