Duty Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently at the Hotel.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively.
• Coordinate with other departments to address and resolve maintenance-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage and supervise engineering staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Full knowledge and understanding of the HVAC and Electrical Systems to ensure safe and continues operation
• High level of management/supervisory skills as he will be leading the operations team during shifts
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Preferably Licensed Mechanical Engineer/Licensed Electrical Engineer
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
