JOB SUMMARY- Drive vehicles with correct capacities in order to transportmaterials to and from specified destinations such as other branch/plant, sites and clients.
- Ensures the timely delivery of materials, equipment and supplies to different sites/CLIENTS.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes in order to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Obeys traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportationprocedures.
- Ensures the accuracy of delivery documents.
- Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping/delivery papers.
- Maintains records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
- Maintain the good working condition and cleanliness of vehicle.
- Performs emergency repairs and troubleshooting such as changing tires or installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.
- Presents trip tickets and other delivery documents for materials, equipment and supplies delivered or loaded.
- Reports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
Reports delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones.
- SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in bending section
- Assist in slitting section
- Assist forklift operator in placing coils
Assist unloading of coils during direct shipment
- POSITION REQUIREMENTS
At least High School Graduate
With at least 3 years of driving experience in Forward Truck, 10-wheeler truck and Trailer Truck
Driver's License: Restriction 1,2,3,8
Knowledgeable in basic troubleshooting of trucks
Willing to travel in different areas in Luzon
Willing to render overtime.
