Location: On-Site (BGC or Makati)
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into accurate drawings
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project teams and clients
- Maintain drawing archives and ensure documentation accuracy and organization
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of drawings with project requirements
Creating Technical Drawings: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
Drafting Plans: Developing detailed drawings of structures, components, and systems, including dimensions, materials, and procedures. Reviewing Design Specifications: Reviewing design specifications and requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and standards.
Collaborating with Engineers and Architects: Working closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and make necessary adjustments to drawings.
Converting Sketches to CAD Drawings: Converting hand-drawn sketches and concepts into CAD drawings.
Creating 3D Models: Creating 3D models and renderings of structures and components.
Ensuring Accuracy: Checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards and specifications.
Documenting Changes: Documenting and maintaining records of changes to drawings and plans.
Meeting Deadlines: Working efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Staying Updated: Staying updated with the latest CAD software and drafting techniques.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Drafting Technology or related field
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in architectural drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
