The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the seafarers dormitory, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment, and providing administrative and receptionist support.
Oversee the daily operations of the dormitory, including room assignments, check-ins, and check-outs.- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in all common areas and dormitory rooms.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all facilities are in good working condition.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by residents promptly.
Provide support and assistance to seafarers, ensuring their needs are met and their stay is comfortable.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries and providing information about dormitory policies and procedures.
Organize and facilitate activities and events to promote a positive living environment
Maintain accurate records of resident information, room assignments, and occupancy rates.- Prepare and submit regular reports on dormitory operations and resident satisfaction.
Handle billing and payment processing for dormitory services.
- Order and manage inventory of supplies needed for dormitory operations.
Greet and assist visitors, residents, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events as needed.- Perform general office duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, BSBA, or any related field.- Proven experience in dormitory management, hospitality, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
