Job Description

The Customer Service & Delivery Logistics Manager is responsible for managing and directing the daily activities of the entire operations of Customer Service and Delivery Logistics, including workforces scheduling supervision and the proper handling of customer service and delivery concerns.

Responsible in maintaining productive and motivating working environment. He/She should be able to address any issues/disputes from customers or clients and must deliver a comprehensive service to customers.

Responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered at the right location on time, to the quality required and in the most cost-effective way. Oversees the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer. Dependent on the size and structure of the organization, may plan and oversee the whole process or may work in part of the chain. Also dependent on the size and structure of the organization, the job holder may take responsibility for the warehouse.

  • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Maintains customer satisfaction by providing problems-solving resources.
  • Accomplishes customer service human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.
Achieves customer service objectives by contributing customer service information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Identifies customer service trends and determines system improvements.
  • Conducts surveys and forms focus groups.
Resolves problems and disseminates advisories and warnings.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Accomplish information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Helping to build good customer relations
Arranging staff meetings
  • Handling complaints and queries (from customers and staff)
Oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and inventory.
  • Resolve customer service disputes and inventory arrival complaints.
Hire, train, and manage customer service & delivery logistics staff.
  • Oversee workplace safety standards and ensure compliance.
Strategize cost reducing tactics and efficiency improvements.
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation.
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
Negotiate transportation rates or services.
  • Supervise the work of logistics and customer service department.
Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes
Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
  • Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
Review national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
  • 13th month salary
