Bestie Express is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Logistics Dispatcher to join our operations team. As a key player in our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing the daily dispatch of our delivery and pick-up riders, ensuring that all shipments are handled efficiently and delivered on time. This role is perfect for someone with experience in logistics, dispatching, or fleet management who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Daily Route Planning: Efficiently plan, coordinate, and dispatch daily routes for delivery and pick-up riders, ensuring optimal route coverage and timely service.
- Real-time Fleet Monitoring: Use GPS tracking systems and fleet management software to monitor the progress of riders throughout the day, making adjustments to routes as needed.
Communication Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for riders, providing them with instructions, updates, and support throughout their shifts.Compliance & Safety Enforcement:
Ensure that all riders adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures to maintain service quality and prevent penalties.Issue Resolution: Quickly address any operational challenges, such as delays, failed deliveries, or customer complaints, ensuring minimal disruption to service.
- Performance Reporting: Maintain accurate records of fleet performance, delivery times, and any operational issues. Provide reports and insights to management for continuous improvement.
Customer Coordination:
Work closely with customers to confirm delivery details, address concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
Experience:
Proven experience as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator, or similar role in the logistics or courier industry.Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of logistics software, GPS tracking systems, and mobile applications for fleet management.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear instructions and handle rider and customer interactions professionally.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional training in logistics or fleet management is an advantage.
