Job Description
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive operational excellence strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and set ambitious targets to drive improvement.
Process Optimization
- Conduct in-depth process analysis to uncover inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Design and implement streamlined processes to reduce waste, minimize cycle times, and enhance productivity.
- Leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate non-value-added activities and optimize workflows.
Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee engagement and innovation.
- Implement and oversee various improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure the impact of improvement efforts and identify areas for further optimization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different departments, including production, supply chain, finance, and human resources.
- Facilitate collaborative problem-solving sessions and workshops to drive alignment and shared ownership of operational excellence goals.
- Provide guidance and support to teams to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
Change Management
- Lead and manage change initiatives effectively, considering the impact on employees and operations.
- Develop and implement communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process.
- Provide training and coaching to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to new processes and technologies.
Performance Management
- Develop and implement robust performance management systems to track and measure operational performance.
- Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
The Successful Applicant
Required Experience
- Operations Excellence: 5+ years of experience in operations management, continuous improvement, or a similar role within a large organization, preferably in industries such as finance, manufacturing, supply chain, or services.
- Process Improvement: Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and others.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with a history of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
- Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management systems and standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain processes and optimization techniques.
- Risk Management: Experience assessing and addressing operational risks, designing and implementing robust internal controls.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in IT operations management.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and resource management.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
- Certified Public Accountant license
- Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
