Job Title: Dining Supervisor

  • Role Summary:

Ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly. The role involves different tasks, including training staff, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance across all food's health and safety requirements. The role of the restaurant supervisor can also be a customer-facing one. Supervisors should actively support the broader restaurant team by stepping in to wait tables, seat customers, and assist with any other operational tasks as needed. S/he will also be in charge of both responding and resolving to the customer's complaints.
  • Responsibilities:

Assists in the training of new employees as well as the continuous training of the existing staff.

Oversees both front house operations, including waiting staff and bussing staff

Maintains high-quality food standards

Provides exceptional customer service and lead staff to do the same

Responds to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively

Develops strategies for improving our customers dining experience

Works with staff to project future needs for Dining supplies, goods, and cleaning products.

Maintains inventory of all needed supplies

Identifies methods our restaurant can use to cut waste, decrease costs, and improve profits

Manages the work schedules of the restaurant's staff

Directs reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Asst. Restaurant Manager
  • Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or graduate diploma in any culinary school.

College level with proven years of experience in the same field is welcome.

Culinary degree or Certificate is a plus

With Japanese restaurant experience is an advantage

Strong Knowledge in Customer Service Management

Excellent organization and leadership skills

Ability to remain calm and make decision accordingly
