Job Description

Dining Supervisor
  • Job Description:

  • Planning and delegating work duties to the staff and ensuring that they work according to the compliance of the restaurant business

  • Overseeing the staff for the smooth running of the restaurant

  • Assisting the HR team as well as the Restaurant Manager in the hiring process

  • Training new employees as per their abilities and skills

  • Maintaining a strong relationship with suppliers and vendors

  • Inspecting the food and beverage stock level and restock them in a timely manner

  • Conducting inspections of the restaurant kitchen and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained

  • Checking with the guest and making sure that they are getting served with the best quality food

  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with all the services provided to them

  • Preparing daily reports and presenting them to the higher management

  • Managing the outstanding bills and cash inflows of the restaurant.

  • Requisition supplies, such as glassware, chinaware, and silverware.

  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate superior

  • Enforce policies and discipline staff

  • Ensures that all work schedules are adhered to, monitoring the attendance of staff.

  • Quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of anything, particularly the issues that are encountered on the line, in order to develop an effective strategy to address those issues

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player

  • Develops and maintains a good level of staff morale

  • Hands on commitment to achieving goals and planned objectives

  • Able to undertake multiple tasks urgently and accurately

  • Willingness to seek advice and delegate when required
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field

  • Prior work experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, or a similar position in the Hospitality industry

  • Proficiency in Restaurant Management Software and Microsoft products.

  • Extensive experience in demonstrating leadership skills

  • Amazing written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative thinker with strong analytical skills

  • Exceptional customer service and sales skills

  • Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver

  • Willingness to work on weekends and graveyard shift

  • Highly motivated, self-starting person; able to work independently, without close supervision

  • Can start ASAP

  • Preferably with Fine Dining experience.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
