We are seeking a PR Manager with excellent communication and organizational skillsto create and execute PR campaigns with the goal of delivering organic media mentions on a weekly basis.
The ideal candidate must be a proactive and independent thinker who can take ownership of the tasks at hand and ensure timely & quality output through collaboration with other team members.

This is for a full-time, remote-work-at-home position as our headquarters are in the US. We are seeking team members that can work up until 4p.m. EST. You will be interviewing people in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute weekly digital PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and traffic to website
- Secure organic, high-quality US based media mentions to the Digital Silk website from reputable web sources, using the content from journalists and marketing team
- Build relationships with relevant US based journalists and other media employees
- Identify websites, groups, associations that we can create relationships with and share our news, interviews, etc.
GOALS:
- Prepare and send our weekly press releases.
- Secure a minimum of 20 unique high-quality US-based media mentions each month (after a warm up period)
- Build relationships with 100 reputable US journalists within the first 3 months
Requirements:
- Excellent English grammar and communication skills
- Able to work between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST
- Be a native or near-native English speaker/writer
- 5+ years of experience in media/agency work delivering creative PR campaigns
- Proven experience in using media monitoring tools to pitch stories to a segmented list of journalists
- A good understanding of digital PR tools (skilled with Ahrefs, Haro, Business Wire & Muck Rack, etc.)
