The Digital Platforms and Software Support (DPSS) Officer shall have, but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities, to wit:
- Maintains and performs administrative functions in the proper functioning of the various digital platforms used by the institution such as MS Teams, Google Workspace, Zipgrade, Trello, Jotform, etc.;
Maintains and provides tiered access to administrators of the institution to our databases via these platforms;- Provides support and troubleshooting to the end users of these platforms;
Trains and implements continuous education for members of the DPSS and other members of the institution for the improvement of our digital platforms;
- Conducts workshops and seminars for various stakeholders in the implementation of these software solutions;
Audits and observes appropriate data privacy and security policies in the use of our digital platforms;- Provides, maintains or removes security access for various members of the institution in our digital platforms;
Performs other task as may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.
A Bachelor's Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields;
- At least two (2) years of work-related experience;
Possesses adequate understanding of information system design, programming, implementation and management;- Possesses adequate knowledge of current and emerging issues and trends in e-learning theory, research, and practice;
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentational skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills;
Confidentiality and discretion;- Ability to work with faculty, staff and students with diverse cultural background;
A good team player, flexible, committed and loyal.
