What is your missionAs the Digital Merchandising Specialist, you will be accountable for ensuring the quality and accuracy of online merchandising, product presentation, navigation, and product content strategies across our e-commerce ecosystem, including our own wholesale and DTC sites and partner e-commerce. Reporting to the Marketing Project Manager, you will work closely with our sales, e-commerce, product, and creative teams to ensure the presentation of our brands and products meet the needs of our customer base and are in line with our wider business objectives.
This position will be based out of our centrally located Seattle office in a hybrid role and will be expected to be available for occasional in-person meetings to complete the required duties of the role.
You will provide the best service to our partner brands by performing these tasks:
- Own and maintain the quality and accuracy of online product listings, new product setup, categorization, descriptions, and pricing updates.
Optimize merchandising assortments to drive customer engagement and conversion.- Maintain product listing information for all products, including item variations, naming conventions, listing consistency, and attributes.
Write, edit, and maintain product listing information for all products, including item variations, naming convention, listing consistency, and attributes, with best practices to optimize for SEO and user experience.
- Audit and analyze internal and partner e-commerce channels regularly to ensure that our product information is accurate, content is current and on brand, pages are free of errors, and appropriately merchandised in their respective categories.
Own and manage product information syndication platforms, such as Salsify and 1WorldSync, to ensure proper connection and optimization across partner and owned portals.- Audit and maintain data consistency between NetSuite and product syndication platforms.
Perform competitor analysis checks to identify the current competitive and market trends while positioning for potential enhancements.
- Engage in weekly sales reporting.
Identify opportunities and recommend new concepts to retain current as well as attract new customers to grow our brand reach and drive conversion.- Use knowledge of our product assortment, relevant e-commerce growth strategies, and marketing vehicles, combined with data-driven insights to take our site experience to the next level.
3- 5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce merchandising in a consumer-facing company.- Strong background in and understanding of the ecommerce space.
Experience working in Salsify, Syndigo, or other third-party integrated syndication systems.
- Experience working in Shopify, or similar e-commerce environment.
Proficiency in project management tools, such as Asana, to manage workflow, track progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time.- Detail-oriented with an ability to manage and complete multiple projects.
Excel in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Critical thinker and problem-solver determined to achieve the desired outcome.
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative, consultative style with an ability to establish trust and build relationships.
