Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in leading and pioneering a dynamic marketing team. Working with diverse clients, you will be responsible for coming up with strategies and marketing mixes for each client and their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing strategies aligned with the organization's business goals.
  • Lead and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including email, social media, search engines, and display advertising.
  • Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities and enhance campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and web development, to produce engaging content and optimize the user experience.
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably from a marketing agency.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and display advertising.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Digital Strategy Development:

Ability to create comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals, considering the target audience, competitive analysis, and available resources.

Content Creation And Marketing

Proficiency in creating various types of content, tailored to different platforms and audiences.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and staying up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes.

Social Media Management

Expertise in managing social media platforms, including content planning, scheduling, engagement, and paid advertising. Understanding the nuances of different social media channels is important.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising

Proficiency in setting up and managing PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and social media. Skill in keyword selection, ad copywriting, budget management, and optimization.

Data Analysis And Interpretation

Strong analytical skills to gather data from various sources (website analytics, social media insights, etc.) and translate it into actionable insights for optimizing campaigns.

Marketing Automation Tools

Familiarity with marketing automation platforms for streamlining repetitive tasks, lead nurturing, and customer relationship management

Conversion Rate Optimization

Understanding of CRO principles to optimize landing pages, user journeys, and conversion funnels for better campaign performance.

Digital Advertising Platforms

Proficiency in using various digital advertising platforms, including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and more.

Analytics And Reporting

Ability to create comprehensive and clear reports showcasing the performance of marketing campaigns and strategies to stakeholders.

Creative Design Basics

Basic design skills to create or modify visuals for social media posts, ads, and other digital content.

Basic HTML And Website Management

Understanding of HTML and the ability to make simple website updates, troubleshoot issues, and work collaboratively with web developers.

Understanding Of UX/UI

Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles to create user-friendly and visually appealing digital assets.

Communication Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Adaptability

Given the dynamic nature of digital marketing, being open to change and quickly adapting to new trends, technologies, and platforms is crucial.

Project Management

The ability to manage multiple campaigns, tasks, and deadlines efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

A/B Testing

Knowledge of A/B testing principles to conduct experiments and optimize campaign elements for better performance.

Customer-Centric Mindset

Understanding customer behavior, needs, and preferences to tailor marketing strategies that resonate with the target audience.
