Job Description

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in executing our digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on email marketing tactics. This role is responsible for creating and managing engaging email marketing campaigns, maintaining organized and clean email lists, and analyzing campaign performance to drive improvements. The ideal candidate will also support website updates, collaborate with designers for email graphics, and ensure all marketing efforts comply with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day email marketing activities, including creating, scheduling, and deploying campaigns on platforms such as Klaviyo, Customer.io, Constant Contact, and other customer engagement platforms offering omnichannel support (email, SMS, push notifications).
  • Write, create, and edit email content, repurposing existing templates when necessary. Build and manage automated drip campaigns and create automated email and text responses to inquiries/applications using tools like Customer.io.
  • Collaborate with designers to ensure email graphics are visually appealing and effective.
  • Coordinate with business unit representatives to gather and organize content for email campaigns.
  • Design and develop landing pages using tools like Unbounce to support email marketing and lead generation.
  • Create and distribute surveys using tools like Typeform or SurveyMonkey to gather feedback and insights.
  • Perform list cleaning and data maintenance to improve deliverability and accuracy. Build and optimize email templates for individual sends and multi-email campaign series.
  • Pull, analyze, and report on email performance metrics to provide insights for campaign improvements.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize email campaign performance.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA).
  • Assist with website content updates and minor edits on WordPress when needed.
  • Support additional digital marketing initiatives and projects as needed, contributing to various tasks across channels to ensure overall marketing objectives are met.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in email marketing or a related field.

Strong content creation and editing skills.

Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Customer.io, Constant Contact).

Experience building automated drip campaigns.

Experience with landing page builders (e.g., Unbounce).

Create and distribute surveys using tools like Typeform or SurveyMonkey to gather feedback and insights. Ability to pull, analyze, and interpret email performance data to drive actionable insights. Basic understanding of WordPress for website content updates. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable. Knowledge of consumer protection laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA).
