The Role
- Create engaging and thoughtful written content to support grant-writing tools and B2B/B2C audiences, including blogs, email content, and brand messaging. Client to provide guidelines.
- Develop simple, creative graphics and visual elements using tools like Canva to enhance written content.
- Collaborate closely with the team to implement a content strategy, focusing on quality and brand alignment.
- Use generative AI tools to streamline content creation while maintaining a human touch in creativity and editorial tone.
- Contribute editorial ideas and creativity to make content more engaging, relevant, and aligned with company values and audience needs.
- Proofread and refine content to ensure clarity, tone, and adherence to brand standards.
The Requirements
- Strong written communication skills, with an ability to generate interesting, non-formulaic content.
- Basic design skills and familiarity with tools like Canva for creating visuals to accompany content.
- Familiarity with AI writing tools and the ability to creatively incorporate them into content development.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to new processes, and communicate openly with a remote team.
- Sense of humor, confidence, and the creativity to think outside the box in content creation.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in grant writing or an interest in the nonprofit sector.
- Passion for working in a collaborative, flexible role within a small team.
- Knowledge of or interest in learning about generative AI applications in content creation.
