Summary: The Digital Content Management Librarian will lead review and approval workflows of digital content in an enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role will communicate directly with multiple agencies daily about digital asset standards and specs. They will provide end-to-end support for the preservation of digitized assets within the enterprise and will provide critical expertise to support the development of the digital collections. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with training agency users and assisting with real-time questions and issues regarding digital assets management practices. This role will escalate issues to clients internal Digital Content Management and Marketing Operations teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead review and approval workflows of digital content in an enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Communicate directly with multiple agencies daily about digital asset standards and specs.
- Provide end-to-end support for the preservation of digitized assets within the enterprise.
- Provide critical expertise to support the development of the digital collections.
- Comfortable with training agency users and assisting with real-time questions and issues regarding digital assets management practices.
- Escalate issues to clients internal Digital Content Management and Marketing Operations teams.
- Compliance checks for auditing purposes.
- Execute the content audit process from review, validation, compliance and resolution.
- Downtime tasks include light customer service, documentation and various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Passion working with data -- experienced with spreadsheets including filtering, sorting, pivot tables and VLOOKUPS is desired.
- Experienced with the metadata standards.
- Proficiency developing Presentations and user training materials.
- Ability to troubleshoot system related issues
- Ability to organize metadata to ensure consistency, intelligent rule application (data entry) and quality control.
- Ability to understand the needs of stakeholders.
- Advanced software skills including [but, not limited to] the following:
- Must haves: Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Nice to haves: Support Desk systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, Content Management
- Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management Systems (DAM)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
