DevOps Track Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to track system health and identify potential issues.
• Develop and implement alerting and escalation procedures to respond promptly to incidents.
• Respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities to protect our infrastructure and data.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Related work experience of about 5 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Certifications related to Google Cloud Platform or DevOps.
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
