Position Description: About the Job
The SRE team provides 24x7x365 coverage and requires personnel working in rotational shifts which will include weekends and public holidays. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer within the team, your primary responsibilities in partnership with Cloud Development, will be deploying, upgrading, and maintaining critical Cloud offerings in production and non-production platforms (IaaS and PaaS). Support of Daily Operations will focus on monitoring, incident response, problem management and Request Fulfillment. Team members are expected to deliver the highest quality services and support to our partners.
Qualifications: What the Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field involving coding (or at 5 years equivalent practical experience).
- Proficient experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Specialist, etc.).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with configuration management tool (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Helm, Terraform, etc.).
- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, containerization, and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Strong Experience in ITIL-based Site Reliability Engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Strong Experience with programming in a high-level language such as C/C++, Python, Java, Golang, Groovy, and BASH scripting.
- Strong Experience monitoring service metrics using data visualization and observability platform tools such as ELK, OpenSearch and Grafana.
- Experience with service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
- Experience with common data structures and protocols (e.g., REST, JSON, XML) commonly used in developing cloud services.
- Experience with software version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Git, Artifactory.
- Experience with virtual networking technologies (e.g., routing, switching, IP addressing, DNS, Load balancers, etc.).
- Experience with advance relational databases, SQL, and Database Management tools (e.g., Exadata, RAC, Autonomous, HA).
- Excellent problem-solving and solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills (English).

Roles and Responsibilities: What You'll Do
- Perform Software engineering tasks such as design and development of systems that increase reliability, scalability, observability and reduce operational overhead through automation and orchestration principles.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement practices related to ground breaking Cloud computing technologies, tools, and services.
- Support Daily Operational activities for production and non-production Cloud offerings.
- Align with Service Level Objectives for Incident and task resolution.
- Follow all Service Management processes (e.g., Incident, Change, Request Fulfillment, and Problem Management).
- Participate in investigation, documentation, and resolution of issues affecting Cloud Services.
- Deploy, upgrade, and maintain CGIU Solution Cloud Offerings.
- Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability of deployments.
- Configure monitoring and logging solutions to provide real-time access to system performance and health.
- Set up alerts and notifications to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
- Perform log analysis and solving to diagnose and resolve production incidents.
- Implement security standard methodologies to protect cloud infrastructure and data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, General Standards, and processes.
