Devops Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at a leading global bank. Mandatory Skill-set

• Has atleast 4+ years of experience in DevOps engineering;
• Proficiency in backend development using Java and Spring Boot;
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps;
• Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation;
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack;
• Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.

Desired Skill-set

• Experience with microservices architecture and deployment;
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef;
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms;
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process;
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications;
• Utilize configuration management tools to ensure consistency across environments;
• Implement security best practices to safeguard applications and infrastructure;
• Identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues, providing support for production environments;
• Continuously improve the infrastructure, deployment processes, and toolsets.
