Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable AWS cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications.
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.- Monitoring and Logging: Set up and configure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, or similar tools to ensure the health and performance of applications.
Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of AWS environments by implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure and deployment issues.- Cost Management: Monitor and optimize AWS resource usage and costs, implementing cost-saving strategies where applicable.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with a focus on AWS services.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture patterns.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).- Experience with other cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with serverless architecture and technologies.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB).
