DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Work Arrangement:Fully onsite;Office Location:5th Ave cor 28th Street, BGC, Taguig City

Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems and some experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.). As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least2-4 years of experience on cloud platforms, AWS preferably but Azure, GCP will also do.
• Proficiency withLinux systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat).
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience withinfrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, ELK stack, CloudWatch).
• Cloud certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, etc.).
• Familiarity with security best practices for DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor Linux-based servers and ensure system performance and uptime.
• Automate operational tasks using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to manage cloud-based resources and services.
• Collaborate with software development and operations teams to deploy, maintain, and monitor applications.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code practices for managing cloud resources.
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
