Responsibilities
- Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production and/or lower environments and ensure their ongoing support once applications are deployed.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects or Technical Leads to gain a working knowledge of the systems and contribute to their overall design.
- Be a DevOps champion working closely with other internal teams and integrating into their development lifecycle to achieve quality attributes like application/server security, reliability, and scalability.
- Dive deep into the software and hosting stack to troubleshoot as needed.
- Build engineering automation and productivity tools to streamline and scale applications in the lower or production environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment and operations.
- Provision reliable infrastructure services to deliver highly robust services (e.g. APIs, serverless functions, etc.)
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Very strong scripting and automation skills you believe you can automate everything.
- Experience working with public clouds. (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem. (Azure, Windows Server, .NET)
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure from code.
- A solid Ops foundation - you're always thinking What happens if this fails when you build things.
- Understands and promotes DevOps maturity model in projects or even organizations.
- Strong personality capable of leading and communicating effectively with subject matter experts across a wide range of specialties and companies.
- Comfortable coordinating with other global offices or teams in a straightforward but professional manner
- A clear thinker, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail who can operate independently
- Open to work in a shifting schedule in a hybrid setup in BGC, Taguig City
