Job Description
The Business Analyst utilizes technical and business expertise to evaluate project needs and create leading edge solutions via various types of documentations (client requirements and specifications, product specifications, design documents, knowledge transfers, etc.) and communicate them with project stakeholders that may include both internal and external clients. The same Business Analyst will also be tasked to help test application bugs and enhancements and address customer reported issues within the Service Level Objective by investigating and triaging reported tickets.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Presents requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, user stories, or scenarios
Participates in requirements analysis/verification, ensuring that requirement statements are in accordance with approved methodology
Writes product designs/specifications according to standard templates and in accordance with system design specifications
Participates in the formulation of project plans
Performs integration testing and systems testing of new development work
Provides guidance to less experienced analysts
Participates in design reviews to ensure requirements were interpreted correctly
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field
Problem-solving, interviewing, elicitation and fact-finding skills
Use-case modeling and design documentation skills
At least 3-4 years business analyst experience and using, supporting or testing commercial/business applications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Use-case modeling and design documentation skills
At least 3 years business analyst experience and using, supporting or testing commercial/business applications
Highly knowledgeable in SDLC and Agile processes and methodologies
Has Scrum Master experience
