Job Purpose
JOB DESCRIPTION
Lead, direct and manage service and business operations across the organization (JP RBU Apps teams).
Will work with partners and clients and be responsible for all aspects of service or apps development operations ensuring delivery is in line with contract and client requirements and achieving high quality and positive outcomes for client / users.
Will have wide-range responsibilities for the performance and development of internal services and operations.
Will drive innovation, development and growth of existing apps development operations and working closely with counterpart roles in other organisations, and contributing to joint development and working groups locally and regionally.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate the Application Development organization's operations.
- Responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability in the operations through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.
- Manage a team of managers, training managers, and other direct reports.
- Effectively communicate status reports to stakeholders (external and internal including senior management).
- Contribute to and implement team wide process improvements.
- Other related tasks as may be requested by his/her manager.
Skills & Experience
- Experience or exposure in operations management.
- Project or Program Mgt experience, especially for Japan customers.
- SDE and ITIL knowhow/experience preferred.
- Software Dev't experience is a must; Quality Management knowhow/experience is required.
- People Management.
- Stakeholder Management.
- Keen to adopting new technologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organizaton.
- Leadership and organisational skills.
- Customer centric; familiar with Japan business culture.
- Familiarity on business and financial principles and/or practices.
Work Location Open for endorsements from both Manila and Cebu.
Work Schedule Some projects follow Japan Calendar (must be flexible to work during PH holidays).
Hybrid Setup will depend on the project requirement; must be open to RTO.
Shifting Schedule will depend on the project requirement; must be open to be assigned to night shift if required
