Monitor logistics costs, analyst transportation expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings through efficient routing and negotiation with logistics service providers.
Liaise with internal teams and external customers to provide updates on shipment status, resolve queries or complaints promptly, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Establish strategies and adopt most effective and efficient way to store and transport goods from origin to destination.
Plan and oversee the scheduling and dispatch of outbound deliveries.
Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Monitor delivery performance and implement improvements to meet customer expectations
Coordinate with the production team to align delivery schedules with production output
Managing Third-Party Service Providers
Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring adherence to service agreements.
Negotiate and monitor contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Evaluate and select third-party providers based on performance and reliability.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of third-party services to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management
Background in SAP or similar ERP/Logistics software is an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistics challenges and emergencies.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Ability to analyze logistics data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
