Delivery Driver

BASIC FUNCTION

Under some supervision, perform task that involve in deliveries of products to customer over established routes and schedules. Ensures on time settlement of all check and cash collection (DTC).

• Ensure that all invoices due for delivery are complete before leaving office

Delivery of goods and merchandise to customer in safe and timely manner. Must be based on itinerary/route list

• Ensure proper unloading of merchandise based on sales invoice per customer to avoid shortages

Ensure that all cancelled/undelivered merchandise during delivery are properly returned to warehouse.

• Collection of payment from customer and on time remittance to C&C clerk

Follow mode of payment per customer before unloading stocks

• Ensure that invoices and other documents are properly received and signed by the customer (Invoice/DR, RMPS, DRR & FG Invoice)

Pick-up the prepared bad order/returns from customer based on approved RMPS

• Forward good stock to Warehouse Returns Checker

Forward BO returns to BO Checker to acquire clearance

• Have all documents (Sales invoice/RMPS/Counter Receipt/DRR/collection) checked by Checker (Consolidator) before submitting to cashier

• Daily checking of

B-L-O-W-B-A-G-E-T-S before leaving the warehouse Maintain truck cleanliness and orderliness

• Ensure proper stocking of merchandise in assigned truck

• Follow safety procedures in driving

Drive the vehicle to and from destination adhering to all traffic rules and regulation

• Report immediately any untoward incidents and mechanical trouble

• ACCOMPLISHING OF REPORTS AND RECORDS KEEPING

Ensure that all invoices are submitted back to office

• Report immediately all the factors that affect the business.

• KNOWLEDGE

Familiar with designated area

At least 2 years driving experience

Familiar with traffic rules & regulations

• SKILLS REQUIRED

Licensed Driver (1-3)

Physically fit (work requires frequent standing, walking, lifting and carrying light to heavy merchandise)

Mathematical skills (calculate, compute & convert item based on unit of measure)

Able to identify fake money
