About The Role
In this opportunity as the Database Specialist you will:
To upkeep ALB Databases and ensure that they are properly organized, stored and secured at all times.
To monitor and maintain the health and accuracy of the databases by having regular backups and updates.
Identify and resolve database performance issues and errors in a timely manner.
Collaborate with ALB team members to gather and understand the data needs and provide recommendations for database solutions.
Develop and implement data retention and archiving policies to ensure compliance requirements are met.
Carry out data mining activities through web, phone and various social media platforms in existing and new markets to grow assigned territories.
Data collection of potential customer contact details from primary and secondary resources (eDM and LinkedIn Invitation).
Maintain, update and extract existing database in Salesforce and mailchimp for Team's use.
Identifying and segmenting existing data according to industry, job type and country.
Advise stakeholders on relevant contacts available in ALB Database.
Monitor and execute new Online subscribers request as well as for ALB Products.
Prepare, testing and execute 3rd party eDM when necessary.
Analyzing google analytics and click-through rates of our database performance via our newsletters and events promotion.
Weekly tracking of ALB generic mailbox and escalate enquiries to the appropriate ALB Team member
About You
You're a fit for this Database Specialist role if your background includes:
Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree is required
Proven experience as a Database Specialist or similar role with deep understanding of database management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve database performance.
Good typing speed with 100% accuracy
Highly organized with strong multitasking and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and effectively communicate information to the wider team members.
Proficient/knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Salesforce, Google Analytics and Google DFP and Mailchimp
Data research experience
Good and well-verse in English written and verbal communication
