Role Overview
Responsible for the efficient management of the company database and ERP systems. In order to accomplish these tasks, the Database and ERP Administrator is expected to perform technical and administrative oversight roles on the databases and ERP that are hosted on premise and those in the cloud. Some of the key responsibilities of the job include but not limited to: Operations-Server/DB/ERP, Incident Response and Troubleshooting, Design/Engineering (Projects) and Training and Development.
Responsibilities
IT Operation
- Monitor server, database and ERP systems to ensure baseline performance is achieved
- Identify, solve and/or escalate problems that may arise with server and database system
- Provide database and ERP administration and support to front-end personnel and/or client
- Deliver Database Status, Performance and/or Incident Reports, and Operational Status Reports
Incident Response and Troubleshooting
- Act as lead in server/database/ERP incident response including emergency measures
Design/Engineering (Projects)
- Facilitate the installation, configuration and/or upgrade server, database and ERP systems
- Work with IT Operations Manager, providing consulting services with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions Capacity planning, backup, and recovery requirement of the system
- System storage allocation requirements for the database and ERP system Deliver Project Status Report
Training and Development
- Act as primary contact for end-user's training and development related to database/applications and ERP systems
- Keep abreast with current updates, innovation, and trends in database and ERP systems
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of Information Technology course or any related course
- With 2-3 years technical or relevant experience in related
- Related certification (i.e. AWS Certified Sysops Administrator, AWS Certified Database Specialty) is a plus
- Experience in server systems administration, virtualization and cloud technologies
- Proficient in different systems (Microsoft Navision and Other ERP Systems, SAP HANA)
