The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Database installation and migration/upgrade/tuning of database software.
- Database health checks/monitoring conduct of regular database
- Health check to get a better overview on how the database is working and evolving.
- Manage database security/integrity and back-up/recovery procedures.
- Patch analysis/application application of database patches and analysis of its impact.
- Performance assessment identification of quantifiable performance problems in the database and its proposed solution, and
- Perform other related tasks.
Ideal Profile
- You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a Database Administrator role.
- You have working knowledge of Database replication
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
