Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.

Responsibilities

1. Operations and maintenance of Databases in prod and non-prod setup

2. perform configurations and execute MOPs including during upgrades and

enhancements

3. provide input and expertise in building and upgrading databases, if needed

4. coordinate with application teams during incidents and BAU

5. adjust workhours as needed especially during incidents and major activities with

application teams

6. provide expertise in optimizing the databases

7. generate reports and insights on database performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field of study
Proven knowledge of SQL Servers
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience with ORACLE, MS SQL, POSTGRE SQL
