Job Functions:- Design and implement new database systems and architectures, with a focus on MS SQL.
Develop and maintain database standards and best practices.- Optimize database performance and resolve performance related issues.
Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Perform database backup and recovery operations.- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Graduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.- Experience with Azure cloud database services.
Experience with NoSQL a plus.
- Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and procedures.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
