POSITION SUMMARY
A Data Support Senior Analyst is the frontline support that enables the business to report on the key metrics. This
person manages the operational processes of existing finance and reporting systems. This involves uploading
data files into our reporting solution, extraction and sending of reports to business leaders, and administration of
our reporting systems. Ensuring compliance and timely delivery of reporting requirements, managing requests,
and troubleshooting issues will be part of the role. Triaging and assigning ServiceNow tickets from stakeholders
to the proper resources will also be included.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage stakeholder requests in service management queue on a timely manner
- Quick turnover of Operations support tasks with quality and clear responses
- Maintain Documentation of tasks up to date
- Providing first level of support for all systems query
- Conduct troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Deliver on ad hoc duties such as creation of reports, regular data sets, report information for end-users
- Assist with system upgrades/enhancements and reporting requests
- Conduct new user training / knowledge transition on tools supported
- Drive continuous process improvements
- Prepare regular operation performance reports for management
- Perform reporting, uploads, extraction, and administration task
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Result focused with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Time management, coordination, accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, manage and handle multiple service initiatives simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications
- Knowledgeable in Excel
- Ability to learn in-house developed IT systems and vendor products independently and quickly
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in IT related courses or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience TM1 or OLAP experience.
- Preferred experience in using PowerBI, ServiceNow and JIRA
