In support of non-toll business initiatives, develop and maintain MPTC GIS Database System, provide MPTC-wide mapping services, participate in Digital Twin Project and assist in Data Science Department's (DSD) overall technical requirements / ad hoc projects as the need arises.
- B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs data collection, processing and analysis for travel demand forecasts inputs, land developments database, traffic study reports and other transport study-related materials
- Maintain up-to-date GIS database as input to MPTC Traffic Demand Forecasting Model
- Analyze geographic relationships among varying types of data and visualize effectively through maps and other platforms
- Participate in the company's Digital Twin Project and development of its use cases
- Assist DSDs with all technical requiremements / ad hoc, as need arises.
- Preference for individuals with a background either in data science, creative design, and data visualization along with experience in ArcGIS products and services.
