Job Summary:
The Data Quality Analyst role is a critical function in any Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Bringing all of an organization's contacts into a central repository will shine a spotlight on duplicate and incomplete data. The task of cleaning up the data, merging duplicate contacts, eliminating duplicate data, and resolving discrepancies, is one of the most important processes in implementing CRM. This role also helps to ensure those contacts have current information such as addresses and phone number and responsible to enhance the basic information about contacts with activities, notes, classifications, additional key pieces of data, all of which begin to provide valuable information to the professional users.
A Data quality Analyst should have a strong customer focus and attention to detail to update and maintain InterAction data on an ongoing basis.
Accountabilities:
Data Accuracy - using the approved internet sites, the Data Quality Analyst verifies and/or updates contact/account information in InterAction. Information gathered and entered into the database must be correct and should meet the Quality Standard. An audit procedure is conducted regularly with a passing rate of
- 00%.
Completeness and Timeliness - this is measured through productivity. Productivity target is at least 30 records per hour. The number and type of record to work on may vary according to business needs.
Perform data stewardship/maintenance of customers data by reviewing data change management tickets and approving or rejecting changes made to data.
Research additional contact information where needed via LinkedIn and Web
Data Manipulation Skills - As data is added to the system, it may be necessary to manipulate the data using tools like Excel in addition to using the internal tools built into InterAction to edit and clean the data.
Detail Oriented - The Data quality agent needs to pay close attention to details. Many times, when duplicate contacts are merged, there may be some cleanup tasks to eliminate duplicate addresses or phone numbers on the remaining contact. Sometimes phone or address types need to be changed to ensure a clean duplicate merge.
Research Skills - The Data quality agent will need to know how to perform research, both internally and using external resources, such as the Internet.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Good Communication skills.
Ability to provide detailed information and along with the ability to summarize effectively for management.
Ability to work under pressure and within an environment of constant change.
Excellent organization and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Keen to details.
Ability to spot data discrepancy.
Understands how data flow in the system and how it impacts downstream system.
Knowledgeable and proficient in CRM and InterAction is a plus.
