Data Migration Leads

The opportunity.

The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for data migration, mapping, and transformation. The role requires expertise in database management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, and technologies, as well as data quality and cleansing. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting and programming skills to support efficient and accurate data migration processes.

The role.

• Develop and implement data migration strategies to ensure seamless data transfer between systems.
• Design and execute data mapping and conversion processes to align with business requirements.
• Manage and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Utilize ETL tools and technologies to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement cleansing procedures to maintain high data standards.
• Write and maintain scripts and programs to support data migration and transformation tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and address any data-related issues.
• Document migration processes, data mappings, and transformations for reference and compliance.

The expertise.

• Bachelor's degree with more than 10 years relevant experience
• Strong background in database management and familiarity with various database systems.
• Proficiency with ETL tools and technologies, such as Talend, Informatica, or similar.
• Experience in data quality and cleansing practices.
• Skilled in scripting and programming languages relevant to data manipulation (e.g., SQL, Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
