Data Migration Lead

Job Description

The Data Migration Lead will be part of the overall program team and will be responsible for coordinating activities across all solution implementation projects, ensuring the successful transfer of data from one system to another while maintaining data integrity and security. HeShe will work closely with the Solution Architect and Data Lead in the definition of the target data model.

The Data Migration Lead will be responsible for defining the data migration plan for each solution, working with source data system and new system to design and create the mechanism to extract, cleanse, transform, enrich, load, and validate all required data for the successful implementation and operation of the new solutions.

The Data Migration Lead will co-ordinate all data migration activities and will create and operate the migration tools as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of data migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
• Develop and implement data migration strategies and best practices to ensure the successful and secure transfer of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data migration requirements and develop comprehensive migration plans.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the data migration team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and security throughout the migration process, implementing appropriate measures to protect sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data migration issues that may arise during the migration process.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on the progress of data migration projects and address any concerns or questions.
