Your Route Map: Role Overview

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Work Setup: Permanent Work from Home

Pit Stops on Your Route: Key Responsibilities

Data Integration Setup:

  • Objective: Ensure customers are successfully integrated with HLC's data services.
  • Tasks:
  • Assist customers in setting up data integrations, ensuring they understand the process and have the necessary tools.
  • Provide clear, step-by-step guidance on integration procedures.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the setup phase to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

Ongoing Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Objective: Provide continuous support to customers to ensure their data services function optimally.
  • Tasks:
  • Monitor customer data services to proactively identify and resolve any issues.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to data services, working closely with internal teams when necessary.

Customer Liaison:

  • Objective: Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as the main point of contact for data services-related queries.
  • Tasks:
  • Communicate regularly with customers to assess their needs and address any concerns.
  • Provide updates on service improvements or changes that may affect customers.
  • Work closely with customers to ensure their feedback is heard and implemented where feasible.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Objective: Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism when dealing with customers.
  • Tasks:
  • Demonstrate excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with customers.
  • Use strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Handle sensitive customer situations with tact, empathy, and professionalism.

Requirements

Who's Ready for the Ride

  • Proven experience in customer support or technical support, particularly in data services or integration
  • Strong technical understanding of data integration processes, APIs, and relevant tools
  • Experience with e-commerce and POS platforms such as Shopify, Lightspeed, and others
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and efficiently resolving technical issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage client relationships over the phone and via email
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
