We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer responsible for integrating data from managed MySQL and SQL Server databases hosted in a private cloud environment into an on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse. The role includes building SSIS jobs to automate data pipelines and generating reports in PowerBI for data-driven insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and manage ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from private cloud-hosted databases into on-premises SQL Server databases and data warehouses.

Develop and optimize SQL Server scripts, stored procedures, and functions to support data integration and transformation.

Build, maintain, and schedule SSIS packages to ensure reliable data pipelines and timely data updates.

Develop PowerBI reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights based on integrated data.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.

Monitor and troubleshoot SSIS packages, SQL Server instances, and PowerBI reports, ensuring high availability and performance.

Implement and follow data governance, security, and compliance best practices for on-premise data storage and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

At least 3 years of solid experience in Data Engineering.

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on ETL processes, SQL Server, and SSIS.

Strong proficiency in SSIS for ETL and data integration, including package development, deployment, and scheduling.

Hands-on experience with SQL Server development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.

Proficiency with PowerBI for developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.
