Data Engineer_

The Data Engineer is primarily responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to prepare data sources for processing and analysis. As a key member of the Data Analytics Practice, the Data Engineer will be expected to collaborate in optimizing the use of data analytics technologies and methodologies for engagements in the following areas:
- Internal Audit and Risk Consulting
Compliance and Regulatory Consulting
- Process Quality Management
Transactions Advisory Digital Transformation
Taxation
The Data Engineer will be working alongside the other members of the Data Analytics Practice comprised of data analysts, business analysts, data visualization specialists, and data engineers in identifying and understanding data sources to develop ETL processes and prepare data for further analysis.
- Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the collection, storage, and processing of data.- Works with the Solutions & Design Lead to design and implement data pipelines.
Coordinates with the Business Analyst and Data Visualization Specialist to prepare data for analysis.
- Primarily responsible for data storage and processing technologies, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Business, Data Science, or related field.
- Foundational knowledge of data analytics application in the field of advisory, audit, and taxation.
Competent in data storage and processing technologies, data modeling, and ETL pipelines.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Possessing a background in the following technology stack will give the individual a competitive advantage: Power BI Power Automate Power Apps Power Query Alteryx Designer Alteryx Server Tableau R Python
