Job Description:- Project Role: Data Engineer
- Project Role Description : Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
- Must have Skills : Data Building Tool DBT, Python (Programming Language), Data Vault Modeling, Google BigQuery, MySQL
- Job Requirements : Data Engineer (Capable of learning Vault implementation) We're looking for a data engineer to support our growing team.
The candidate should have the following skill set.
SQL Expertise: Proficient in writing complex, efficient SQL queries with knowledge of database optimization, query performance tuning, and data modelling using SQL.
- Python Proficiency: Competence in Python, with the capability to build pydantic models.
* DBT Proficiency: Adept in DBT, understanding core concepts such as models, sources, and transformations, and demonstrating competence in navigating DBT projects, custom DBT macro creation, YAML file comprehension, and command execution.
- BigQuery Basics: Competent in working with BigQuery, including the ability to execute SQL queries within the BigQuery environment, create datasets and tables, and perform basic data operations.
Data Modelling Awareness: Familiarity with data modelling principles and understanding the significance of structured data for curation and analytics, preferably with knowledge of DataVault modelling
