- Job Overview: The Data Analyst is responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. This role involves developing and implementing data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. The Data Analyst will work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs, ensuring data integrity and improving overall business performance.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
Collect, organize, and analyze big amount of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports.
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports.- Reporting and Visualization:
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings.- Present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Data Quality and Integrity:
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Process Improvement:- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Identify process improvement opportunities and provide actionable insights.- Collaborate with other departments to enhance data infrastructure and processes.
Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Work with management to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment.
- Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python, R, Tableau) is an advantage.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good balance between analytics and business sense.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with database management and data warehousing.
