This is a 6-12 months initial contract role
Key Responsibilities:
Manually intensive data capture:
- Input inherent risk attributes based on values determined by the business, so that the final inherent risk tier aligns to expectations
- Input Monitoring Tool attributes and thresholds to enable the upload of the monitoring results
- Input control dependencies to controls operated by the TM and ICRM teams that mitigate front office risks
- Mapping of controls to GPMPs and Control Inventory
- Performing Quality Assurance (QA) over the input and final output, and documenting the process and review undertaken
- Perform system updates in Risk and Controls platforms and escalate issues identified
- Manage communication with and coordination of the support functions within Markets
- Identify/participate in process improvement initiatives and anticipate impact of system enhancements to team processes
- Build internal controls to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work deliverables
- Develop best practice procedures within Markets
- Trains, coaches or guides junior staff when required
- Assist in ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed
- Coordinate and manage any Internal Audits and Compliance Assurance as needed
Knowledge and Experience
- 3-5 years relevant experience in data management/migration, project management, banking, risk, compliance or audit.
- Experience in working with the various risk and control systems and reporting requirements
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to interact successfully with multicultural/virtual teams
- Experience in process automation and/or data analytics is a plus

- Strong Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills.
Education
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
