Looking For Filipinos Who Are Philippines-based Candidates
Position : Data Analyst
Work Hours : Monday to Friday; Flexible hours with at least 4 hours overlapping time with CST
Holidays : Regular PH holidays + 2 weeks vacation / year
Pay Range : $1200 - $1500/month
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data collection. Data comes in all different types of formats (CSV, Excel, PDF, etc.)
- Data entry. Given the data comes in different formats, we need an analyst to collect the data and enter it into our database to be reviewed by one of our team members
- We're currently doing this ourselves so believe we can teach it to someone
- We also interact with suppliers often and need to collect data from them. Interaction is predominantly done via email. Leveraging ChatGPT + canned responses, we believe we can teach this workflow to the analyst, too
- As we grow more comfortable working with the individual, we'd like to teach them more about our business and have them take on more
- Data gathering, clean up, and manipulation
- Data Preparation and Cleaning: Prepare datasets for analysis by cleaning and structuring data. Address inconsistencies, manage missing data, and uphold data quality standards across diverse projects
- Research and Information Gathering: Perform extensive web-based research to gather essential data and insights that support varied business initiatives. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments
- Documentation Support: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and analysis across multiple projects. Ensure documentation clarity and accessibility for international teams
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and summaries to aid in decision-making. Assist in visualizing data to make findings comprehensible for varied stakeholders
- Project Flexibility: Rapidly adapt to shifting project needs and priorities, providing data analysis support where it's most needed. Collaborate with the team on a range of data-driven initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 1-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as SQL, Excel, R, or Python
- Proven ability to conduct detailed, efficient web-based research using various methodologies
- Strong skills in creating detailed documentation and clear, concise report writing. Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project demands
- Effective communication skills (English), capable of engaging with diverse international teams
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Interest or passion in sustainability and/or the circular economy
