Your Role: As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will:
- Review suspicious threat activity via logs and security applications to determine the nature of a possible threat.
- Decide necessary remediation actions for a multitude of systems, including but not limited to Operating Systems, network firewalls/routers, AV system, and more.
- Work with other stakeholders (e.g., senior analysts) and escalate recommendations actions to the senior team in real time against systems under attack.
- Create clear and concisely used grammar writeups representing the overall summary, analysis, actions taken, and recommendations for escalated incidents via a platform ticketing system. In addition, analysts will validate operation during their shift, if there are any issue that needs escalation, analyst will contact senior analysts for additional support.
- Monitor customer request via their escalated tickets and inform the senior team for additional support.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Experience with SIEM systems
- Strong Cybersecurity Fundamentals
- Experience in Windows Operating Systems (Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Windows end-user operating systems) and Linux Operating Systems
- Experience in Network Security, Email Security, Endpoint Security, Network Logs (Firewalls/Routers/Switches/IDS/IPS/DNS/VPN/AWS/et.)
